The VAR run three or four rallies a year around the country. The main one being ASHOVER on the 23rd July 2006, (run continually for 30years) attracting over 450 vehicles of which over 250 are Austins, ranging from 1900s to the 1970s, an ideal opportunity to see a range of Austin models, from the immaculate concour specimen to the used every day car.

Numerous other Vintage and Classic cars are also on show and a large autojumble add to the scene of activity. Local meetings and summer road runs are also a regular feature, information for these meetings and events can be found in the monthly newsletter.
