The VAR run three or four rallies every year around the country. The
main one is the ASHOVER RALLY (run continuously for over 30years) - next year on July 19th 2009 -
which attracts over 450 vehicles. Over 250 entrants are Austins, ranging from
the early 1900s to the 1970s, an ideal opportunity to see a range of Austin models,
from the immaculate concours specimen to the used-every-day car.
Numerous other Vintage and Classic cars are also on show and a large autojumble
add to the scene of activity.
Local meetings and summer road runs are also
a regular feature;, information for these meetings and events can be found
in the monthly newsletter.
